Its efficient design, light-scale form, and digital knit material deliver unparalleled comfort in ancillary spaces. Its knit is made to shape with no fabric offcuts, and the chair is assembled without glue so it can be taken apart and its materials separated.

Haworth Cardigan Lounge is a lounge chair made with sustainable circular design practices. Available in a range of digital knit colors, Haworth Cardigan Lounge offers a light, airy presence with its soft, textured, cocoon-like design. It’s a comfortable chair with a malleable, ribbed back that supports varied postures.

Treat dirt and stains quickly: absorb excess liquid with kitchen paper or a damp cloth. Then clean by hand with a Camira brand upholstery shampoo.

The design of the Cardigan Lounge exudes striking modernity and sleekness. Unlike its heavily upholstered counterparts, Cardigan stands out with its slim and lightweight profile. Yet, despite its unconventional appearance, it remains incredibly comfortable, offering a delightful blend of style and cosiness. The malleable seatback effortlessly accommodates diverse postures. Cardigan is ingeniously designed with just four components: a sturdy steel frame, a customizable 3D knit fabric, high-quality foam, and 6 identical screws. What's remarkable is that no glue is involved in its assembly. This means that when it's time to disassemble, it's a breeze to do so.

Material Choices

Working with renowned designer Patricia Urquiola, Cardigan Lounge was developed with thoughtful material choices in mind. The assessed configuration incorporates 49% recycled content, including 26% pre-consumer and 23% post-consumer recycled content. The seat also uses foam with 100% REDcert-certified mass balance content, supporting the use of certified alternative feedstocks through a mass-balance approach.
