Fern provides integrated lumbar support because the backrest has been designed to mimic the natural curvature of the spine. The standard backrest is enough back support for most people. An additional lumbar support option is available if you would like extra support. (Note that the additional lumbar support is height adjustable, but its firmness cannot be adjusted.)

Vacuum your chair as needed.

For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

This is my first real desk chair I really like it I taught about the herman miller embody but really need and like a strong lumbar so I went for the fern instead.

The chair is great my back pain is gone since sitting in it. some people duslike the waterfall design of the seat but I like it because that way there is no pressure on my lower legs.

Good chair, but sadly not enough color options

I haven't had any issues with the build quality, chair feels solid and comfy with the digital knit backrest! I just wished there to be more color options, like they provide in the US-market. I returned one with lumbar support as it didn't quite fulfill my needs, but the haworth-support is excellent and has helped me return the chair to get one without the lumbar. 5 Stars

I tried to contact support for returning the item (unpacked) multiple time and still haven't received any clear answer on how to return the item. For a chair that costs more than 1000 bucks I'd expect a better service...
