Zody Ergonomic Office Chair

8.772,00 kr

Back pain at your desk is often a symptom of a chair that treats both sides of your spine the same way. The Zody Classic changes that.

Developed through rigorous research at the Human Performance Institute of Western Michigan University — with chair prototypes tested across 200 participants — the Zody's PAL™ (Pelvic and Asymmetric Lumbar) system is built on a fundamental anatomical insight: the left and right sides of the lumbar spine rarely need the same support at the same time. The PAL™ system lets you adjust each side independently, delivering precise, personalised support exactly where you need it.

The Zody is the only office chair ever endorsed by the American Physical Therapy Association — an endorsement earned through demonstrated clinical performance. GREENGUARD Gold certified for indoor air quality. 39% recycled content. 99% recyclable at end of life.

The 3-point synchronised recline mechanism aligns its pivot points with the hip, knee, and ankle — the natural rotation points of the human body — so reclining feels balanced and natural. 4D arms provide precision forearm support for any task or posture throughout the day.

Science + Design — the Zody was built on that principle before it had a name.

Nice chair, bad practices

My only and not so important concern is the fact that for an 800 euros chair they give out instructions that are barely readable making it look cheap. Apart from that i got delivered a returned chair which was never communicated to me. I know that because the screws includen were in torn bags and some parts of the chair appeared different than in the instructions. Luckily the chair was in good condition so i never complained about it but the whole thing is disappointing for such an expensive chair.

Returned my chair, because it didn't really work for me.

The seat is excellent, one of the best I have used and the adjustability is great.

Also the innovation should be praised. Chair looks great and is nice and light compared to some others.

However, for me, the back just did not work. It was not supportive enough and the upright angle was just weird, in that it was not really upright at all. The lumbar support was not effective enough either and the pelvis piece was just painful, although I like the concept of this piece and think it probably does have a place in office chairs if integrated in a less aggressive way.

Back on an old sturdy Leap V1 now and it also has its faults, but the back rest is just so much better for my back (every back is different of course).
