The Japanese design studio Nendo, headed by renown Oki Sato, has taken inspiration from the laces of a Ballerina slipper for deigning the Ribbon stool.
The stool is made of continuously flowing ribbons of laser-cut sheet metal.
Thanks to its unique design, Ribbon is a small sculpture which can be inserted in different contexts, be it a modern architecture or a classic environment.
Simple and essential, yet refined, Ribbon is a poetic object, a clear example of top-quality Italian manufacture.
The stool has received numerous awards such as the Red Dot Award.
