Fern provides integrated lumbar support because the backrest has been designed to mimic the natural curvature of the spine. The standard backrest is enough back support for most people. An additional lumbar support option is available if you would like extra support. (Note that the additional lumbar support is height adjustable, but its firmness cannot be adjusted.)

Vacuum your chair as needed.

For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.

Fern Ergonomic Office Chair

I tend to move around a lot and the back of this chair has been the best one I've had so far. The mobility it provides but mostly the lack of pain from the usual metal or wire frames used. The seat is nice but as you sit for long hours on end it can become a bit compacted over time, a simple walk about and stretch fixes it(which I should probably do more often during longer times spent in the chair).

My one pet pieve would be the lack of a neckrest, it works good with the design but the option would be nice.

Overall a great office chair and would recommend if you are like me and are sitting around for the majority of the day.

Comfortable chair

I ordered the Fern as my company have these in the office. First chair arrived was damaged, possibly due to impact on one side resulting in damage to arm rest and seat mechanism. After a couple of email exchanges Haworth did a straight swap replacement. Upon opening box the chair back has been squashed so I swapped with the prior chair to make one acceptable unit. New chair came with 2 Alan keys and one bolt instead of 1 Alan key and 2 bolts. Thankfully managed to get hold of delivery driver to return to my house and retrieve a bolt from the old chair. Chair is comfortable however recommend unboxing and checking chair whilst at time of delivery
